I just picked up a LSR from my local shop for around 135$ but i get a good discount. Check out Burgard, i've heard good things about them. Give jeff@the quadshop a call, he can hook ya up with just bout anything ~

Even if you find somebody that could weld that back up, the bearings would not fit in it correctly without having the bore touched up on a lathe. Bottom line, you would spend alomost as much money to fix it correctly as you would on a new one.

In addition the new one will be much better because it will most likely have twin row bearings which will last longer and take more abuse.

Spend the money and get a new twin row carrier. Like the other guys said, you can get one on ebay or at you local shop for less than $150.

I definatly would not be running that carrier anymore. Burgard, lonestar, rpm all are good companies to deal with just depends how much $$$$$ you wanna spend ~

Looking to replace rear carrier need advise twin roller or Tapperd seems like I go through a set of bearings every 3-5 months getting tired of changing bearings and the factory carrier is about worn out. TWIN ROLLER or TAPPERD

both should extend your bearing life over the stock set up.

if you just ride alot id say double row carrier is fine. if you are wearing out the bearings because of side load issues id go with tapered because supposedly they offer more strength in that area. (i use a double row and hvae no probelms)
