k. now i am trying to decide on which big bore to get. i have been looking over Powroll's website day and night trying to compare the 2 that i want. the first is the 274 that just needs a bored cyl. not much work, but them theres the 288 that comes with everything, but needs case porting. i want to go with the 288 for even more power, but im not really sure about case porting. i have had snowmobiles in the past that have been ported and i have trusted them hands down, but i dont have any experience with case jobs. in my mind, the 274 would be the power i am asking for, but im kinda greedy, and want the most power i can get out of my little 250x. now what would you do? punch it to a 274 or a 288? thanks in advance for the input.

im installing a 274 kit on mine this weekend. ill tell u how it does. but im also putting alot of other stuff on mine that gives even more power so it will be different than just the bore kit.:devil:

i got a 293 kit in mine i love it and a big cam portin and a lot more will run will a stock 400ex and git-r-done

gthunder sells a 350 big bore for 300ex's, that would be about a 330 kit in your x, i promise you it hauls the mail and is very reliable

im putin a cam, race springs, race clutch, valves, JE 12:1 piston, port and polish, carbuerator, rocker arms, and a few other little things. i also already have a exhaust, filter, and no air box lid
