If anybody can help me on this I've already read a review about it in the review section about switching to a 14 tooth from 15 tooth on the 400ex will help low end and every other thing. What I'm asking is on my 400ex I have 22in rear tires and only modification I've done to it is a k&n air filter no other power adders. I climb some big long hills where i ride and with my stock setup going to a 14 tooth will it help on the low end for better hill climbs. I like to hear what some of you think about this and give me some help on it. thanks later from red400ryder

a 15 tooth and 20" tires gies about the same ratio as a 14 tooth and 22" tires.

With 22" rears I would use a 14t sprocket.

I would go with 14t front sprocket and 39t rear sprocket.

With 22 in tires I would run a 14t sprocket on the front for sure. Where in S.C. do you live, I am originally from Chester and will be stationed in Eastover (just outside of Columbia) in a couple months

i would definately run a 14t with 22" tires. if it was me and groung clearance wasnt a huge problem i would get some 20" tires. Save some weight!!!
