I would suggest DeRisi racing www.derisiracing.com I have been extremely pleased with all of the work he has done for me. I know GT Thunder does a great job too!

I will apologize in advance for my ignorance on the 450R (I am a Z400 owner) but I am looking to pick up a set of 450R front shocks and will need to get them rebuilt. In the opening thread, the guy wanted to convert them to a triple rate and get them revalved, is this possible with the stock 450R fronts? If so, do the major manufacturers, Elka, TCS, PEP, etc.. do this? If anyone has had it done, who did it and what was the cost? Thanks guys!

the average cost to have all three shcoks done tripple rate zero preload fronts and dual rate zero preload rear, you lookin at an average of 750-800 bucks depends where you send them.

and the trx450r shocks are good to rebiuld cause they have compression and rebound adjustment..elka dont unless you get elite series and they are big bucks.

Not tue, the Elite series means you get high and low speed compression. Elka's non Elite shocks have compression and rebound adjustment. Also, SSD conversion are more in the $500 range than $750-$800 range.

sorry, i musta been reading wrong on the elka site then.

ive been quoted bout the same price on having my shocks redone by tcs and derisi, they told me between 775 and 800.

that was triple rate front and dual rate rear zero preload.

lol jeff i guess your right about the elkas, all the ones ive seen didnt have rebound adjustment, they looked like the dude edition.

but they still expensive. lol
