are there any stock xr400 parts that would increase the power of a 400ex or are the engines identical, i was thinking cam and chain

Sometimes people use the xr400 cam in the ex to increase the power. that is the most noticeable increase that i am familliar with. a chain will not increase power. If you are talking cam chains, then the crf450 cam chain is more popular.

the 450 cam chain does fit?
does the xr cam fit right in without modifications?
