stage 1

[400ex men]

any 1 here have a HotCams stage 1 in a 400ex? if you do how you like it?

I do, along with a 426 11.1.1 Wiesco piston.

my buddy did in his 406. he did love the cam. the riding you do really determines what cam you need. this cam performed great for his bike. he now has a larger bore, full pipe, etc. also, we do open area riding so a high revving cam that suffers a bit on low rpm power is what we need. we all not run stage 2's and i run a TC mx grind cam. i do have a stage 1 cam for sale if your interested. just to let you know, the stage 1 cam is noisier than some of the others. just how the grind was made. the stage 1 is great for smaller bores or if your looking for some all around power. this won't want to be revved passed 10K but it does go to the stock rev limit. it is great for tight trails, tight track, or all around power. if you have a huge bore, you may want something more aggressive.
