This is worth taking a look at as election day draws closer.

Okay senator, we did check the record. Here it is.

CAN YOU NAME THIS COUNTRY?

~709,000 REGULAR (ACTIVE DUTY) PERSONNEL.

~293,000 RESERVE TROOPS.

~EIGHT STANDING ARMY DIVISIONS.

~20 AIR FORCE AND NAVY AIR WINGS WITH 2,000 COMBAT AIRCRAFT

~232 STRATEGIC BOMBERS.

~19 STRATEGIC BALLISTIC MISSILE SUBMARINES WITH 3,114 NUCLEAR WARHEADS ON
232 MISSILES.

~500 ICBMs WITH 1,950 WARHEADS.

~FOUR AIRCRAFT CARRIERS AND 121 SURFACE COMBAT SHIPS AND SUBMARINES PLUS ALL
THE SUPPORT BASES, SHIPYARDS, AND LOGISTICAL ASSETS NEEDED TO SUSTAIN SUCH A
NAVAL FORCE.

~IS THIS COUNTRY- RUSSIA? NO; CHINA? NO; GREAT BRITAIN? NO; FRANCE? WRONG
AGAIN (What a Laugh!!!!!)

MUST BE USA? STILL WRONG (SORT OF)

GIVE UP?

THESE ARE THE AMERICAN MILITARY FORCES THAT WERE ELIMINATED DURING THE
ADMINISTRATION OF BILL CLINTON AND AL GORE.

AND [their elimination] was 100% SUPPORTED BY JOHN F. KERRY (THESE HE DID
VOTE ON)

SLEEP WELL!

This is not a new message, but a reminder of why we now have over-deployed
our National Guard and Reserve Units.

HE SAID CHECK THE RECORD...!

Sen. John Kerry, Democrat from Massachusetts says he is the strongest >
Presidential Candidate on National Defense! He said Check the Record ...

We Did!

Here is what we learned:

He voted to kill the Bradley Fighting Vehicle He voted to kill the M-1
Abrams Tank He voted to kill every Aircraft carrier laid down from 1988 He
voted to kill the Aegis anti aircraft system He voted to Kill the F-15
strike eagle He voted to Kill the Block 60 F-16 He voted to Kill the P-3
Orion upgrade He voted to Kill the B-1 He voted to Kill the B-2 He voted to
Kill the Patriot anti Missile system He voted to Kill the FA-18 He voted to
Kill the F117 He voted to kill every military appropriation for the
development and deployment of every weapons systems since 1988, including a
bill for battle armor for our troops.

It is most likely, with Sen. John Kerry as President and Commander in Chief
of our Armed Services, that they will cease to function making it impossible
for our country to protect itself.

John Kerry voted to kill all antiterrorism activities of each and every
agency of the U.S. Government.

He voted to cut the funding of the FBI by 60%.
He voted to cut the funding for the CIA by 80%.
He voted to cut the funding for the NSA by 80%.

THEN, and this is abhorrent to almost every American Voter be you Democrat,
Republican or Independent, he voted to increase OUR funding for U.N
operations by 800%!!

Ask yourself ... Is THIS the person you want as President of these United
States providing for the Common Defense of the Nation and be the Leader of
the Free World?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
His Voting history can be accessed through Senate voting records. please
check it yourself if you think this is Republican Party "B.S."
The above is an accurate summary. Check it out!
George Bush is not perfect
by any means, but he does stand for a STRONG America. Where do you want your
children and grandchildren to grow up??? Thank you.
There will be lawsuits and recounts. With the amount of new voters who registered, the states are unprepared for the turn-out that they'll recieve. Once again, the results of the election won't be official until months after November 2nd. But for those who are eligable to vote, go to the polls. Don't sit at home with a lame *** excuse not to vote...it's your obligation as a citizen of The United States. Whether you vote for Bush or against Bush, just vote.
It's really sad that the mainstream media will never bring this kind of evidence to light.
PHAT400 was that Zell Millers speech at the republican convention.
Part of it sounds like his speech. Not the whole thing... just the part talking about the M-1 and the different aircraft and stuff that kerry :mad: voted to get rid of :grr:
Topics and dicussions like this are totally dumb. People are blatantly showing their own ignorance.
Honestly voting records don't mean anything. As a politician he votes for what the people of his state want, not what he personally wants. He votes for the people. If he didn't he wouldn't be in office long.
Now on top of that just because he votes against something doesn't mean he isn't for it.
- Maybe he voted it down because of all the fluff bs crap other politicians added to the bill that had nothing to do with the matter at hand.
- Maybe he felt the bill didn't go far enough towards the goal. Something isn't always better than nothing .....
All this voting about the military might be based on the states in question's revenue. Obviously Bush's home state of Texas will benefit way more than Kerry's from military expansion. Did you know there are over 30 military installations in Texas? Hmmm..... no wonder Bush always wants big military spending. I work for a simulation company. It isn't coincidence we just moved our headquarters to Texas. Plus Lockheed just won the biggest fighter jet contract ever and is running it out of Texas. See a patern here...
I know this sounds like I am defending Kerry, but I'm not at all. Actually I'm openly voting for Bush. Just trying to get everyone to think a little bit about how things really go down.
Well what's really scary if Kerry looses.
Mrs Clinton is next in line for the Democratic party and ole Bill will be the first lady.
