has anyone out there put a 14 tooth front sprocket on their 400ex? how did it ride in the woods and how much top speed was lost? Has anyone used an Emgo sprocket? It sounds kind of cheap at 12.99

I have the bike with the mods in my sig, and I can outrun stock bikes in top end speed with my 14 tooth. Forget about it on low end, you will kill them. I love it. It is great in woods, and also great if you like wheelies!

I run a titax from RMatv that was $6.99 and its been good for over a year and a half. But with all new motor mods I might be going to a 15 tooth

I bought a 14 tooth for the sand and thought it sucked ***. I rode around in the trails and really didn't notice a difference accept shortning' the gear ratio's and causing me to shift too soon.
Personally, I don't think it is a help unless you have a few power mods.

I hated it! Too slow in first and I ride in tight woods.
