boring vs. stroking [Archive]

what are the advantages and disadvantages of both boring and stroking. If I did a little bit of each would I get the best of both worlds? Who makes a stroker kit for the 400ex?

whith stroking comes torque, the smaller the bore the faster she will rev and yes you can have best of both worlds :o

my buddy had a 416 stroked 4mm (ends up being a 440), and he said it smoked 440 bore bikes all day.
