has anyone degree'd in the sparks drop in agressive cam for the 450r? I need the specs on it so I don't have to degree mine in on the bench, can anyone help? I'd like to compare to johnsoncams.com and Megacams

ahhh, research is sometimes kewl!
found out the CS specs (near 02 crf cam ;) )
also johnson cams great and compares to megax1, but does not come with cam sprocket flange.
megacycle cam comes complete but definely require springs cause they are so radical- that's what i just ordered
:macho
megacycle mid cam has more overlap than 02 crf.
hope this helps someone other than me
:D

Keep us updated on the new cam results. Thanks Kazpr
Which Megacycle cam did you order? X1, X2, X3 or another one?
I bet they all scream! :D
I'm wondering how close is the sparks agressive drop-in cam to the '02 CRF cam?
Here's what I heard the '02 CRF cam was:
'02 CRF cam
Intake Lift 0.380
Intake Duration 249
Intake Lobe Center 106.5
Exhaust Lift 0.356
Exhaust Duration 272
Exhaust Lobe Center 107
Lobe Separation Angle 106.75
14110-MEB-670
$162 from Service Honda
I did not degree it myself though, this is just second or third hand info. Do those specs seem about right?

if you want, you can go to
http://www.megacyclecams.com
and compare your specs to the actually '02 crf specs they have printed in thier Megacycle Cams Catalog.
BTW, I did order the X2
I am planning on degree'ing in the CS before I replace with X2.
Hope this helps

Thanks for the link!
I'm looking forward to hearing how well the Megacycle X2 cam does. The X2 specs look a little more agressive than the HRC cam.
That 550R with all your mods sounds like a lot of fun to me!
