I'm runnin' a 2001 400ex. I removed my headlights to save a pound or two and I'm looking for an aftermarket part to plug the hole. All I can find are the push-in headlight covers. Anybody got any ideas? I want to plug the entire hole to protect the wiring....what do you guys think? Anyone make something like that? Any help would be appreciated. cya
You can make one yourself. Find some steel or aluminum, create a pattern for the hole and cut it out. Mine took me about half an hour.

i would just get rid of that whole assembly, and get yourself a hood, doesn't have to be a carbon fiber hood, maier offers them as well. and imo a hood looks better on there than the lights do ~
