Pipe or HRC KIT

just read an article in san addiction. they put the duncan fatboy-4
opened up the airbox and different jets. its a header/muffler system. they said night and day difference in overall power and 22% more peak HP on a dyno. its 500$ for this exhaust. my buddy can get me an HRC kit for 219$. i know an exhaust would be obviously easier to install but my question is which one will make for better power in the dunes and is it worth the money not to open up the motor and change the cam?


and does hrc void the 6 month warranty?

ive dropped the countershaft 1 tooth already but it just seems to be way to choked up.

also i read about the hmf slip on. is that just a muffler and not header? and who makes the airbox lid with the sand sock covering the cutouts?

http://www.ehsracing.com/ is a link to a Airbox lid that I have. If you get the HRC kit I am told the best bet is then get the DR. D slipon. That all should cost what the duncan setup will and will perform much better.
