Hey Guys,
How much of a difference can I expect if I port and polish? This should't be too much of a reliability issue should it. I like to get some extra power but am afraid of messing with the motor too much.
Thanks

i was thinking of getting head work done too..
i have heard that people are getting really good response from having port work with oversized vavles too...

just getting your head cleaned up inside would probably help you just as much as a full port and polish with a stock motor. im guessing you have exhuast though. right?

I had my 450r ported and polished, if anything I noticed better throttle reponse, but I can say if it did much for power, because I had a hot cams stage 2 camshaft thrown in at the same time, so the power increased any ways.

port and polish means they port the exaust ports in the head(drill and grind them out) and then polish them so they are smooth and shiny
