Won't start...any ideas?

I have been to busy to ride lately and I let my 400ex set up for about 6 weeks...Before then It would fire right up, no problems what so ever..Now I tried all day to start it with no luck..It acts like it wants to start but I cant get it to idle to warm it up.(just dies out).I think all it needs is to be started and blown out.....any ideas?

That happen to me because it sat for like u said 6 or so weeks and i guess before i let it sit i put in some gas that was starting to go bad so i drained out the gas and changed it and fired right up. Make sure there is nothing blocking your carb and trie carb cleaning it alittle.

its just got trash in the carb. from sittin up. take it off and pull the bowl off and clean up the jets and passages real good.
i would go ahead and pull the plug and clean it or replace it.
drain all the gas out the tank and put fresh gas in it .
should run fine after that.
