how do you explain this???

For some reason when using Internet Explorer,if I type in the search bar OR a full web address for one particular website, it redirects me here????:huh I have messed with the tolls/internet opitions and cleared cookies and it still does it.. the sites are no way connetcted either.. I called my ISP and asked them how to fix it and they were stumped....:o Why would this happen???

I should also add that if I use my MSN, it does NOT do this... Only IE.

If you redirects you to Exriders, i would recommend abstaining from here because you most likely have the disease everyone else has.

Now for the honest answer, does your computer have any spyware ? The windows registry works in mysterious ways, maybe some how a key got messed up or something and redirects you all the time ? I'm not exactly sure, i would use a spyware tool first just to make sure, i recommened Spybot Search and Destroy or Adaware

Also what version or windows do you have ? Do you have SP2 ? If its not spyware, and you can't figure it out, i'll do some research and see what i can come up with, but for now im off to school

Tina, did you installed SP2? If your not sure; right click on My Computer -> properties -> look for Micrsoft Windows XP SP?.

If so, uninstall SP2, this can be done via Add/Remove programs in the Control Panel.

If you haven't installed SP2, probably some sort of spyware. But that doesn't make sense either; spyware normally redirects to an advertising page or something of the sort:confused: Either way, it is a registry problem.

I'll haven't been able to find anything in particular to this problem but I am going to keep looking for ya!

This would be the Predator site I refer to...When Im not here I am over there since I own a Predator ;) Like I said, its only when Im on IE NOT when I sign in usnig my MSN Browser. I Also use spyware weekly and it still does it after a scan. I physically cannot get on that site threw IE like I used to but I have no problems what so ever anywhere else.... Weird Eh???:huh

i had a similar problem. try a system restore. just go to start,all programs,accessories,tools and then system restore.i would try restoring back 1 month. it worked for me;)

1) Ditch the Polaris

2) I have no idea what the problem is

3) Use Mozilla, screw IE

As far as the computer problem .... download ad-aware .... it should get rid of it ....I used to have the same problem with my Hotmail account getting redirected to a different website . Ad-aware solved it .

Wow, don't ever call them. They will just have you reformat your computer. I had to have corperate recover my stuff at work after that happened. My next computer is going to be a sony.

You might have accidently hit something while you where deleting you temporary files and clearing your history from your nightly surfing.....................................

Actually, I did go threw all my internet options and everything checks out... I say screw it and as long as my MSN is up and running Ill just use it its NP threw them...... I think its just EVERY odd why its doing that.:huh
