I have quite a few pics of the kids race I wanted to add to the other kids pics but that forum has been closed so I'll just post them here.

The race was awesome Taylor ran 4th and 5th in the limited class until her chain derailed Dad had to follow her thru the last lap and keep putting the chain back on to get her thru to the scoring tent. Way to go Tay Tay . Chance ran the production class his bike is mostly stock and at 8 years old he finished 7th after running fifth in the class for most of the race. Way to go Chancers.

The kids really loved the race and are hoping the crew at RP will continue the races next year.:D

Congrads to all the kids .:D

This is Taylor looking to make a pass on her yellow 90. Give it some gas girl!!

Tay in the woods. This is her first year racing xc. She finished third in the IATVHSS for 2004. In 2002 she took first overall in the Fall series at KnobbyHillMX and in 2003 she took second overall in the yearly series at KnobbyHillMX. She also took first at Kahoka,Mo this year in the hare scramble there. She loves racing.

Here's our boy Chancers also his first year racing xc. Chance finised 2nd overall in the IATVHSS. He raced at KnobbyHillMX in 2002 and took 2nd in the fall series and in 2003 third for the year. Chancey has big plans for the future he wants to be a pilot so he can meet us at the races. Ha Ha. Chance also took first in his class at Kahoka,MO this year at the MHSC.

I'm glad he had as much fun as my kids did. The kids are still hoping they make it in a magazine even if they didn't bring home the wood this time. Good luck on your boys future racing and hopefully they'll all be lined up against each other next year.:D

I talked to you a little by the scoring tent. It was around the time the computer screwed up and some kid came thru and it had him as 2nd when he had been running around 10th. Still a totally awesome race.

Do you think they'll make an announcement about it soon ??? It was short notice this time and would like to have a little time to prepare since most of the races are so far from us. Ironman being the closest at about 7 hours. I keep hoping to hit the lotto. HA HA!! Yea 6 to 8 sounds about right to us too. Plus the kids and Johnny will still be doing the IATVHSS and a few MHSC.

Taylor and I were just checking the lap times. She was giving the boys a run for their money. She thinks she could have taken Cody's fifth overall maybe even fourth had it not been for her chain. HEE HEE :D She likes to talk smack like the big boys. :D

I know we had a blast. And so didn't Michael. Chris Borich was standing right Beside Michael at the start of his race. Michael was the 6 yr old on the lime green Ac 70 Production quad , which he took the holeshot and was running strong and leading the 70 class. But he was passing a 90 class quad and cliped a tree with his bars. He hurt his right hand and was batteling a nasty cold. He was mad when he didn't have anymore to finish the race. But I think 3rd in his class at 6 in his first National was AWESOME! I 'm VERY proud of him.

What an interesting but very fun race! I finished 7th in the 90cc limited class on a red artic cat 90. Not exactly what I was expecting but oh well... I had a blast! My stock 90 (that I borrowed) was no where close to competing with some of those other 90s! It just wouldn't go! lol. During the race my thumb began hurting me again making it really hard, almost impossible, to push the throttle. (I broke it about 5 weeks ago but it still hurts). Only having about 1 hour worth of riding the quad also hurt me.

I hope they do decided to race the 90s next year. If they do I think I'll just enjoy watching and wait to race MY 300 when I turn 16. lol.

I hope all the kids were okay! I saw a few sitting on the side and a few that wrecked. Hope everything was okay!

One thing that I noticed during the race and has been bugging me ever since was that some of the parents were being way hard on the kids and need to lighten up. It's just a race and there's gonna be more. So chill out! But other than that all the kids seemed to be really nice and cool about everything.

To me thee is nothing more rewarding than watching he lil ones go out and give it all they got!!This is a our future riders!!

So, did they not use transponders for this race?? I know they use them out West for the WORCS and it works VERY well
