250rhood w/ light on 400ex

I Really like the 88' 250r hood with the square light. I would like to get one on my 400ex. is the wiring the same so i could hook it up and would the hood fit good on stock 400ex plastic if i cut the part the stock light assembly goes in>?>?

well anything can be donen. It probalby won't just just drop in place but you could make something work. as far as the wirering it will only be 3 wires. low, hi and ground. The ground is green. you just have to figure out the hi and low. the conecting is probably not the same but it wouldn't be hard to make it work. I say give it a try.
