I just got the ESR airbox eliminator for my 450R, and I have a question about my jetting. Currently, as far as performance, I have a the stock pipe with spark arrestor/baffle out and the ESR kit. I talked to a local engine builder and he suggested I use between a 180-185 mainjet..and he gave me a 182 jet to try. Got in, put the jet in a nd fired her up. I DID NOT touch the needle, but when I get the bike back I may try to go down one clip. I took the bike for a test run...and the power was a LOT better. The only bad thing is..I was goin top speed and my front sproket fell of..yes fell off.. and got jammed between my shifter and the frame. Chain snapped and it bent the hell outta the shifter shaft. Anyways.. it felt pretty good...couldnt really tell if it was lean or not. Can anyon gimme a ballpark as to which is the correct jetting. I think I may have it down pat, but I'm not so sure.
