Walden 10-24 Halloween Race PICTURES!

Well it was a good end of the year race at walden playboys mx park in Walkill New York!

Quad Expert was up first and it was 241 that blasted the hole shot

The number 1 of Tom lombardo suffered a bad start but was already up to 4th by the end of the 1st lap!

The number 1 of lombardo was right on the number 241 by the end of the second lap after coming from last place!

This rider suffered a mishap early in the moto and was doing all that he could to catch up with the pack

Lombardo won the first quad expert moto and next up was the amatuers...


902 had the holeshot and the late parts of the 1st lap... he suffered a broken chain which ended his race early. The number 3 took over the lead and was on the gas hard... Here 902 throws his hands up in his goofy riding outfit

Number 3 had a big lead first moto of quad amatuer

Second place was the 79 but he suffered front brake problems which took him way off pace

[I-7]

the number 75 yfz moved up to second place followed by the 45

[I-7]

This guy was vintage all over with his lt500 in the quad amatuer class

The number 410 held on for a 4th place finish behind number 45

[I-7]

And the number 17 followed close behind in 5th place

[I-7]

The number 14 ended up 6th place

[I-7]

The first quad c qualifier came up a little later on :

The number 62 came out with the holeshot but the number 129 quickly passed him for first place

the number 62 held second and 82 was running very strong in 3rd place

[I-7]

Number 82 strong in the third position

[I-7]

Clearing the second part of the compression

Number 28 running strong around 5th or 6th I believe

129 ended up first, 62 second, and 82 finished third.


Next was the second novice qualifier...
The number 42 came out with the holeshot

First lap

The number 42 was still first place after the first lap

Followed by the 68

[I-7]

Followed by the number 30 ride I believe

[I-7]

The number 297 was running strong in 8th place

[I-7]

Number 88 went down hard after the finish line jump

The number 68 ride took over the first place from 42 and went on to win.

Number 89 rounded out the top 9 riders who would advance to the second moto

I couldnt get much of the second moto of expert but 241 went on to take the win and the overall and lombardo suffered a bad start and ended up 5th...

The second moto of amatuer was next and the number 410 would come out with the holeshot

The number 902 would take the lead and 79 would take over second place

3rd place went to the number 3 and the overal as well. 410 held of for fourth place and a second overall!

The number 17 settled with 5th and a 5th overal and a second place in the championship points

[I-7]

The race was on the second moto of novice as everyone was trying to rack up as many points as they could because it was the last race...


Number 129 would take the holeshot and the win

Number 82 earned a excellent second place finish!
