Well, as described i have a 2005 450r with a full HMF, HRC Lid, K&N w/ outerwear. I have a 165 main with a stock needle and pilot. The fuel/air screw is 4 1/4 turns out and i am still getting a black plug. What's the deal? I feel like the main is lean just from reading what others are using, but I get no popping on decel. I had the fuel/air screw 3.5 turns out but it bogged at the bottom. Any ideas? Thanks

These pictures are from about 2.5 hours of riding at the track

Thanks for the info. Glad to here it is from the dyno. Do you have a stock needle and pilot?

Looks like you are fairly close to me, where do you ride?

No dynojet.

I live in Warner Robins, just below Macon. We mainly ride the track. There are a few down here to choose from. We go down and ride the "dunes" in Albany every once and a while. There is a group of 4 - 450Rs and 2 - 400EXs, so if you ever want to join us then let me know

Durhamtown is pretty good, I went there last Easter with some friends of mine. They have some pretty cool trails, and the tracks are really nice. It was def. a good weekend trip (even though it was a 15+ hour drive for us).

I have a sparks pipe and the air filter and the lid off and a 190 main the plug is nice and brown. i have the mixture screw out 2and1/2 turns tho. but right now it seems that you are running rich if your plug is black, if you were running lean it would be white.
