all stores that dont pre-order games gets a certain amount and once there gone there gone
all the stores that pre-order games get the same amount of games as they have pre-orders so the people who pre-ordered defintly get the game and then they dont get anymore until there next shipments for the people who did not pre-order the game....and anyways if you didnt pre-order it it does not come out til tomorrow

I got it last night also....it ended up coming in just before 8:00pm to the Gamestop that I ordered it from....the line wasn't so bad, I was 3rd anyway.

I didn't get a chance to play it very much, but from what I saw it's pretty much the same as the other GTA's (which isn't a bad thing). There seems to be a lot more dialouge in the cut scenes which is good (a LOT more swearing than the others also, which doesn't bother me but I wouldn't call it good or bad). The fat/muscle/stamina/etc.... meter is a pretty cool idea....you can go get your hair cut, buy different clothes, and get tatoos also. The hand-to-hand fighting is better and the targeting with the guns is better also. You can also buy cars and bring them to a shop and have them customized. I'm sure you've heard most of this anyway. I haven't gotten to explore the city much...seems pretty big.....It appears that you have to go along with the missions before everything opens up to you (as far as shops and that stuff goes). I haven't really tried to drive out of the general area you start in, but it looks like you can, I just didn't have time to yet.

Hmmmmmm.....can't really think of much else that has changed for the better....the graphics are a little better, and some of the cars look more realistic. As far as bad things....The only thing that comes to mind is that you have to use the left analog stick to move around and steer the cars. I have other games like that so I'm sure I'll get used to it, but I just like using the D-pad better. Oh and on the topic of cars....another minor thing is that the camera in this game "floats" around a lot more than in the others and I find it kind of annoying sometimes when you are trying not to hit crap....you can move the camera on your own also but I was happy with how it was set up in the other GTA's....I dunno, maybe I'll like it better after getting used to it.

Anyway, that's what I have seen so far....I know it's not much and you guys probably already knew most of it but since nobody else posted their thoughts on the game so far I figured I would.

If anyone has any specific questions I'll try to answer them for you, but like I said, I didn't get to play all that much.

its like a forest place and there is barns with 2 floors you need a car or van or truck to go up there so bring one with you i dont know exactly where though

I'm about 10% done. It's a lot like the other games, but it seems like they are trying to tie in some roleplaying type stuff. You have to recruit members and stuff. Also have to defend your turf.

One thing that is kind of wierd is you have to do those like dance mission. You have to hit a button when it pass thru the circle. Like that popular dance video game. It's actually kind of hard.

Pretty much like the last two, just a much bigger city and more in depth charactor development. Working out, cloths, food.

You also have to date a chick after you save her from the building your trying to burn down.

I found the quad in the country side... you have to find the farm and jump to the second story of the barn. Its a yamaha breeze. The game is really good im on the 15th mission or so

Well alls you really have to do is go on the country side and look for a dirtroad on the map and it goes up a mountain and at the top there is like 3 empty barns... but you have to jump to the top level and the guy grabs on and pulls himself up and the yamaha breeze thing is there

Im already on the second island, i also got in the airport on the first island, you gotta park a car beside the checking building and jump on top of it and then jump over the gate. its awesome, then i got shot down by a jet when i went to the other islands.

if you keep doing missions there is eventually one where you have to drive it. it goes like crap...hahaha....slow and handles like garbage.

I stumbled accross it last night, but it's in a different spot then what everyone else said.

I found it up in the mountains near a bridge. It was actually kind of hidden off to the side of the road.

Look at the map. The farm is on the north side of the very end of a dirt road. The quad is in the upper flool of the barn. You can see the farm on the map!

Look on the map in the norther area for 3 buildings(little whitish rectangles) that are in an L shape, and thats where the quad is. And it is on the second story of a barn. It's more of like a horse barn than a normal barn. It's easy to jump to the second story.

Well I did something like that but I stole a dirtbike when I got to the Island to the left of los santos and I went up the huge mountain. It took like 20 minutes to get to the top and its really high like incredibly high... at the top there is a sky diving pack so i took it and road of the mountain with a mountain bike and tried to skidive but I didnt get out far enough and fell to my death. Sign of things to come though :devil:

heres a faster way if you didnt do the girl mission yet......from your moms house go straight down that road....you will pass under that first bridge thats real close....keep goin and there will be another bridge you go under...make the right as soon as you pass under it...then when it deadends go into the broken up house to the left its inside

do the 8-track racing at the big dome arena thing in los santos, and if u get first place, a monster truck will spawn in the parking lot of the arena all the time, its always there for whenever u want it ;)


by the way, its well worth it, the monster truck is da sh*t

if you beat the race in the 1st city, you get the monster truck, ANd a race car..parked righ side by side.

beat the race in the 2nd island, you get a demolition derby car...

i dunno wtf happens if you beat the race in the 3rd city, becuase its not realy a race. you ride the dirtbike through an obstacle course...and try to collect points, ive gotten 34 points so far...and havent gotten any reward, its a fun thing to do though.

if you dont feel like beating the race in the first city, wait a while until you open the import shop in the 2nd city, you can just import the monster truck for 32k. theres also a racing street bike hidden in the docks, that thing moves damn fast.

yes, im far...ive got 50% completed already

and nacs12, you can do backflips on the dirtbike and the regular bmx bike.

thats also with quite a bit of screwing around, i only do missions half the time, other half i explore...go offroading...fly a jet, sit there and just go on rampages, see how long i can last with cops running at me...high speed chases...etc

Look on the big map that came with the game and look for Hilltop Farm. You have to jump up to the second level of one of the two open barns there

you can find the monster truck at the stadium after you beat the 8-track race, you will need to have a decent amt of driving skill before you can enter it,

But yea, can someone please tell us where the quad is? i looked for an hour a little while ago and i still cant find it.

Anyone. You don't buy gas, they just give you a limited amount. Bascally just timed.

doigibueerert...you dont go hit them in any way. you have to do them in a pattern. what i did to beat it after my 30th try...you take off, shoot the first 2 guys, get em outa your way...keep heading forward on the map and get the 3rd guy before he wonders off too far, then turn around and get the other 2, get the one on the bike, hes closest to you first...then get the last guy in the van. its a *****, its more luck than anything. i did that pattern 15 times, and only got it once, the time i got it..i had plenty of fuel. the vehicles turn at a random place, its not a situated pattern, basicaly..you gotta get lucky.

Im stuck, i just finished the green goo mission but the game wont open up any more mission areas, the only one i have is the Zero mission, and my friend has already got more missions than i have w/o completing the Zero missions. and it wont let me do red dragon casino missions :confused: there isnt a mission portal thing

Yea I just did that too. That big tractor trailer the road train has some balls.

Then I found a tow truck, and it ca actualy tow cars. So i decided to tow another tow truck and one thing lead to another and I had a train of tow trucks 6 tow trucks long. I'm still workin on getting more.

its also fun to get a crop duster and fly up like 5 miles above ground and jump out and parachute :devil: or drive cars off mount chiliad...

also if u need money, take out the foldup map that came with the game and find the offtrack betting for horse races, and go bet money on the horse that has lost the most races and eventually u will win, when u run outta money just load again, and save when u win money etc.
i bet $500 (i think) on a horse, and my horse won and i got $55,000:devil:

What ive been doing it riding a dirt bike up the mountain, getting the parachute, then riding the bike down a side of the mountain, I have my skill level all the way up so he almost never falls off. By the time I make it down the mountain on it Im going about 200 mph, haha. Once I land I go steal the jet, fly over to the last part of the city, which i havent opened up yet, and then once I get shot down, I jump out, open the parachute and then run around until I get killed.

must be nice to have a ps2.:( i got a XBOX so i have to wait for february to roll in. but it must be better than the ps2 version because its taking them longer to make it:macho

haha I think I have about double that, thanks to R1 R2 L1 X L D R U L D R U. the jet is in the airport of the 1st island, its on the western side of the airport right next to one of the runways, sitting out in the open, a few feet away from the baggage carrier thats just sitting there.

its mount chilliad ;) and if you find the motorhome and hippie bus thing...right behind that on the hill is the parachute. If you take a car down it....most of the time you can make it and land then your car will catch on fire you get out and run like hell lol! Or you can bail in mid air....you'll have the parachute on and you just press circle to deploy it! also if you get in a jet or helicopter or whatever you can go up as high and you can go......and hold triangle.....and you can bail out....and thats really funny to parachute like that!

dont use the brakes, just let off the gas on turns. once you get into first its almost impossible to lose

yup yup, glide around corners, try to keep your tires planted at all time, if they start sliding around turns, it slows u down.

take out the people to the right first the 2 off to themselves then take the one farthest away in the other direction then the next two are close to thi building so you dont have to fly far to get back...the best way to kill the people fast is land the plain by them and shoot them.

im at 80% will getting all the graphitis and clams and stuff take me to 100 couse i beat eery mission i could find
