Wow .... I was watching the race , and the post race interview was a shocker to learn about it . The Hendricks family has a long road ahead of them . I feel really sorry for the family , especially the parents that lost the twin daughters . :(

All I can say is that terrible.

I was unable to watch the race because I was running a 2 hr kart enduro. I had just finished the day, (in 1st place for my session) when my wife called to tell me.

Nascar is like a family member to me... somtime's it piss's me off and other time's I absolutely love it...

this sounds weird but i was at the state fair in raleigh at the time and the whole time i had this bad feelin about something and i didnt know what it was and after the race, i get a call on my cousins cell phone (i borrowed his until i get my new phone) and its my mom tellin me about a hendrick owned plane that had crashed. right then a cold chill runs up my back and that bad feeling goes away. thats the weirdest thing that has ever happened to me

i was at the state fair on thursday

it is sad to hear about this crash
henderick motorsports is only about 20 minutes from where i live

and the son that died(ricky) runs Performance Honda which is on of the biggest motorcycle dealerships in the state besides the one my family owns
