August took the gold today at the riot. All went as planned. But, from what i hear.....Derek put on one h*ll of a show. JUST FOR THE FANS!!! hahahahhha (by the way, he placed 4th...off the podium ) Go figure!:grr:

Just off the phone with Derek. Ryan got second and Taylor Moles got third!! Derek said August was awesome and actually, everyone did a great job! Garrett Inglestad from MINNESOTA ,was really awesome too!:D Derek said it is just an awesome feeling!!!!! Congratulations to all the riders!!!:D

Well it sounds to me like it was RIGGED! I mean I have seen some pretty sick footage and pictures of Derek riding and he has some mad skills. I can't believe he didn't place in the top three! That makes me angry! But hey, every one knows derek kicks butt so I guess it's all good! ;) I would've been booing too!

From what I've heard...Taylor and Derek had a duet..so to speak. I wish I could have been there to support him.:( I can just picture those two, wooping it up!!!:D Fun times for sure!

Thats Sick! i wish i could have attended the DRII, but i just cant make it across country, i would have killed to go there, i guess ill have to buy the DR2 video when it comes out. who else attended the freestyle competition? btw, htfoxchick, arent you jon and dereks sister? thats cool

Yes, i am! We would have liked to have been there too but dad is so busy this time of year. I wish someone would post some pics!!

The only freestyle show we have anymore is nelsons snowmotion. Wich features the brap pack.

Once I found out the riders don't get money for the H-bomb films, I stopped buying them.......I won't be buying any Dirt Riot vids, either......just because I can't see PICS!!!! :grr:

I don't blaim ya, I thought they woulda got alittle dough. Especially since some of em were missing a day of there regular job for filming.:ermm:

well it seems like ol' wes is making a pretty poor name for himself as of late why not let cameras in to the event its not like people are gonna sell pics over the internet and take away from from your piggy bank it would be different if these guys were getting paid but apparently their not and as for the dvd i am pretty much pissed off and will never order through hbombs again i have bought every video from that place and every time it doesnt show up for about 2 months becuz of some "editing" problemsi mean honestly the only reason why there is an hbomb films is becuz of Dana Creech if he hadnt threw down like he did in H3 there would be nothing how do you expect to get this sport to go mainstream by lack of orginazation and greediness mx has multiple filmakers as well as sleds i think with the guetter boys talents and doing some exploring in the video industry we will see a new quad group arise real soon and props to derek for still going and throwing down at the riot it sounds like you had your A game going

derek, taylor and august pumped up the crowd like you wouldn't believe. Derek should've taken 2nd. His run was better and he pumped up the crowd a lot more, he did awsome. bemis did have a sweet run too, but i thought dereks was better. the way he followed taylor out there and just hit the ramps was very entertaining

those pictures make it look like there are bout 5 people there. how big was the actual crowd?

Those pictures were taken during the morning practice, before they started letting people in. I heard attendance was supposed to have been around 5k. Personally, I thought there would be more people there than what there was.
