Fuses/lights???

When I turn on the lights on the 400EX it blows the fuse by the battery. WHY? I gussing its gronding somewhere but how do I figure it out? It happened all the sudden when ridding in sand.

I was looking for a short and dident find one so I went and bought a box of new fuses and its worked. All I did was wiggle a bunch of wires. But if you have any info i would still like it.:D

Chances are your power wire for your lights is rubbing the frame some where. Follow your power wire and check for pinched or rubbed wiring along your frame. Also check your connection behind your lights. Also make sure your wiring harness is secured via zip ties to prevent from rubbing against the frame while riding. If you have an multi-meter you can check for shorts, but beaware that it may check out ok, but wiggle your wiring and recheck chances are thats when you short will show up.
