What a mudhole it was for the "big quads" i was pitted right next to POPO who had some trouble and got towed in, but it was a hell of a mudhole to get out of.:eek2: :grr:

Brian, which mudhole are you talking about?

The spot that I saw claim the most motors was that creek! I know of at least 2 quads that blew motors there. Guys were stalling their bikes and then they'd try and restart them while they were still in the water! This was further on down the creek where guys were making their own paths because the main paths were all filled up with hung up quads.

I had a blast and didn't think it was that muddy...:blah: actually the entire race course and parking lot was a mudhole. The field sections were absolutely crazy...:scary: I think my neck is broke because my helmet wieghed like 80lbs from all the mud on it from the 40 miles of nonstop roost from other riders.

I finished 9th out 58 in my class and 54th overall outa the whopping 375 riders in the morning class...:eek2: Thanks to Cardio Stack.

The race was all about being smart, picking good lines and not following dumazz's thru the wrong spots..:o

Pappy's boy Cody got 2nd in his class and I think 5th overall in the mini's race. Way ta go Cody..

Harlens Suzuki had problems and he only got in 3 laps..:(

4 x 4 tractors were pullin people to and from their parking spots when I left. Glad I parked next to the gravel road.

I guess my beer gut is bigger than I thought due to the only clean spot on me after the race...:p LMFAO

I was parked all the way in the back and had a fun time getting out..... Just gave the old PowerStroke Hell and she pulled through.....

The Feilds where the worst place on the whole track.... the rest of the track was a Cake walk......

It looked like SPARTA 3........:eek2:

how were the hill climbs this year, any nasty carnage?

Carl Nevins

great time. made one lap, on a borrowed bike then had to get pushed out by a tractor, 4wd on the dually would be a good option to get.

I didn't have any problems with the hills... As stated before the flat field sections were the worst part of the track....:huh

i was rather disapointed with the hills, the biggest hill that usaully attracts the most attention from fans and is a blast to try to get up, we went down:grr:

Boy you can say that again. I think that's what blew out my clutch.

It was like riding on 3 miles of consistant whoops, and if you even tried to get out of the tracks you would get bogged down even worse.

I think the best part about this race was watching the wee ones.
They where some pooped puppies at the end but they hung in there.

I about got nailed in the same exact spot! I was coming out of the woods and crossed this road. As I got across the it I looked back to see where a friend of mine was and why he wasn't coming over yet. All of a sudden I see him look to his left and yell "MOVE!!!" I looked up and hauled across that just in time to miss a quad. I didn't realize that was part of the track, I just figured it was a road around the parking lot. :eek2:

I only got stuck once and there where about 20 people stairing at me and another guy as if they had know idea there was a race going on..... I think that some of the people have no idea what it is like to pick a quad up out of a 2ft rut on the side of a hill....

Plus with all the people jumping in the way ... but then again i look at the spectators as extra traction for the ol'razrs......

Johnny got towed back in then we had to get the tractor to pull us out. Did you see that van that was stuck in the middle of the track up to its wheel walls? They gave it hell got unstuck and made it out of there while all the 4 wheel drives were getting pulled. I even saw a couple 4 wheelers towing cars and trucks out. :D

And did I mention that we hit a deer on the way home Saturday night. Too late to hit the brakes switched lanes gassed it and the f...ker still slammed the bed of Mark's truck bounced off slammed the enclosed trailor put a hole completely thru the front bounced offf the side and too top it off Taylors quad was in that corner of the trailor and the deer smacked so hard it bent her push em the hell out of the way bumper.

I"m sure there were plenty of them freaked out when all 375 of us went screamin thru the woods the first lap.....

I hope there are several races like that next year with those conditions. I had a blast....

Only bad thing is our woods doesn't produce deer like this every year. We get a big one out of there every 5 - 7 years. Both field dressed a little shy of 190 lbs. Not the heaviest I have seen but decent.

We were back in Missouri and less than an hour from home when the crazy chicken playing deer made the dash. The deer are thick around here too.
