carb help

i have a crappy old 1986 trx 125 and the carb was all junked up so i cleaned it out and now im trying to get it to run good and it idles fine but when u hit the gas it revvs up and it like sticks. could someone tell me how to fix this.

all i can think of is to take it apart and move the slide up and down by hand to see if it sticks

thanx but thats not it it has somethinbg to do with the air fuel mixture or something and i have no clue but im starting to get pissed with it

how many turns out did you go on the air/fuel screw? try 1 and3/4 turns out from lightly seated as a starting point. also check around all carb and intake connection and make sure there is not any loose, cracked or damaged places in that area that would let it suck air in to make it stay at a high idle like it is.
