Stock Carb Bore!

Does anyone know anything about boring the stock carb, my buddy wants to di but we dont know if you get anything out of it, i know you get go to 38mm but does that help alot because he just had his head ported and cant afford a new carb and are engine builder said he would bore the stock one???

i wanted to do this also...so far i only jetted my carb and took choke out. anything else i can do?

It's a nice touch to with a ported head. I could tell a difference when I did both at the same time and recommend it to anyone. Open up the airbox a little and you'll really feel an increase..:macho
