some 1 said that if u take the baffle outa the stock exhaust and cut off the stock arrestor and drill out the holes in the baffle and make them bigger to gain a little hp and noise is this true???

maybe noise, but if there was a horsepower gain, it would by very little. the stock exhaust has a tiny bit of horsepower compared to aftermarket exhaust

i wouldnt do it because with out the baffle u loose back pressure

your scared of loosing back pressure when it comes off the header pipe to a 1" pipe then it opens up. that 1" pipe is all the back presure you are ever gonna need that E-series your runing has very little back presure not even compared to the stocker. plus im pretty sure packing doesnt give u back preasure if it does its barly any it is mainly there just to make it quiter the packing wich is just like a inselation almost like in your house is just there to absorb noise to quite it down. correct me if im wrong about this cuz my buddy took his out so now its just like a hole so ok but its stock and now it doesnt have that fluddery noise.

not worth it tons of noise no power gain, aftermarket exhaust on the 400ex only yeilds about 1hp not worth destroying the stock silencer and not worth $250 for aftermarket
