I am thinking about getting a TC pipe for my YFZ 450. What is everyones opinion of them? I heard the low end is so strong it almost pulls your arms off, but at the same time it is about 120db and will make your ears bleed.
Thanks

I think there have been a few threads on here about it, you might want to try a search. I just bought a full system HMF for my 400ex, and hopefully soon i will get a chance to ride it and see how good it works. I have heard the TC is pretty loud...

I have a TC shorty and that thing is badass. I owned a HMF previous to that, and it was also a good pipe. I just found the TC on here and my friend needed a new pipe so I sold him mine and got the TC. Haven't got to race with it on yet, but I will see what its like next summer. MUCH louder than the HMF also:devil:

The TC is a top-end high revving pipe, not a low end pipe:huh

For the YFZ, you can't go wrong with the TC, but as everybody says, they are LOUD. If you ride in a community with people withing 10 miles from your riding area, do not get it. If you're strickly riding at a track, then you should be fine, it still may even annoy other riders, and the track owner could ask you to quiet it down. I choose the Curtis Sparks exhaust, mainly because it's not quite as loud as the TC, and the power is definetly there. The TC offers KILLER bottom end, and no other pipe can compare to TC's bottom end on the YFZ.

alright, my bad. Thought it was more of a top end pipe seeing as how its practicaly an open header. I got mine from Muff and its great. Just very very loud;)
