Number plate??

Okay, so my first MX race ever it this weekend. What do I do about number plates or whatever. I have heard all I need is one for the back, if so, I don't have the ability to get an actual plate right now. What else would work back there for a make shift plate? Thanks for the help.

Steal some tupper ware lids out of the kitchen. You can just use electrical tape for the numbers. There might be people at the track selling plates and numbers but don't rely on that. I just bolted my number plate to the light mount on my grab bar and used zip ties to secure the front one to the bumper. Have fun.

All you need is a paper plate and a marker. I see newbies at the races all the time with that set-up. Just try to avoid any water.
