i just got a dynojet kit for my 300 ex and it says they design their jet kits so you dont have to mess with the pilot jet...even if you use an aftermarket filter and exhaust...why are you guys all rejetting your pilots as well...havent installed anything on the quad yet but plan to add a KnN and a yoshi slip on...am i gonna need a pilot as well as the main? or will it idle and start ok w\the stock pilot?

you should be fine with just those mods and your stock pilot, if its hard to start try backing the air screw needle out a little bit.

You only need to change the pilot jet if your best idle mixture adjustment is with the screw nearly all the way in, or nearly all the way out. If it runs good somewhere near the factory recommended number of turns out on the mixture screw, you don't need to change the pilot.
