think i have a virus

ok my computer has been slow as chit lately, like abnormally slow, and everytime i use yahoo or google or a search engine, i keep gettin porn popups....idk if i have a virus or wut....its really startin to piss me off

search for LavaSoft ad-aware program...get the newest version, version SE....download, install..run the scan, you probably just have a bunch of spyware on your computer...

1) stop lookin at porn!
2) get some type of spyware remover or adware remover(do a search, there is a good thread about this....search "spyware")
3)maybe invest(if you call $30 investing) in mcafee or norton virus protection.
4) be sure to defrag your harddrive, if you havent done it in a while it will take some time but let it do what its gotta do.

but you cant forget about formatting your hard drive and starting over...(had to do that and it sucks!)

spyware probly :ermm: you cant really get rid of it if you dont kno what youre doin my dad has to fix mine but yea if you just get spybot or spysweeper(i have both) it shold work...and dont go to porn sites

ha ha i had 11 viruses at one time before. what you have is prolly spyware. download spybot it cleans it up for ya.

i had the same problem a couple months ago. i couldnt get the virus out for chit. i ended up throwen my comp. in the trash and gettin a new one.... gotta stay off them dirty sites:eek: :devil:

what i would do is go to www.cnet.com > downloads
then download ad-aware and spy-bot, run them, they will prolly help
