clattering

I have a clattering noise coming from my chassis when i am in 3rd, 4th, and sometimes 5th when i am holding the throttle at about 1/4-1/2 and staying there, usually when i was in high revs, then bringing it down. It could be coming from my motor, i dont know. Have any of you expierienced this before?

From my past experience, try this out..... Remove your Reverse Mechanism from the left side of the motor. You will not harm anything by removing it. Take it for a quick ride. If the noise is still there, try having someone ride along side of you. You don't want any "clattering" noises. If it was the reverse mechanism, it is just the metal pieces banging into each other.

i found out what it was; the blot came loose holding my CDI. I washed when it was out, i hope water wont rust my frame, although i dont know if any got in it. i dont have much 2 worry about.
