what shim kit do i need to get to install the HRC cam? and how much does it cost?

You don't need to change shims for HRC install. However, after a season of riding you should check your valves and re shim. So, if your motor has a season of riding on it, and your just now putting HRC in, then you should check valve clearances. You can measure, do the math and order shims from honda for around $9 a peice. Also, Hotcams makes a shim kit, with all the sims you'll ever need. I bought the kit so I never have to deal w/it. It retails for $75 or so if I remember correctly.

I want to stress that although you may not need to re-shim after the HRC cam, you MUST check the clearances. Do not just put the cam in and assume it's good. While most have been within tolerance after swapping cams, some motors have had to be shimmed.
