Repacking silencer

I have a power core 2 silencer and it says to repack every 7 hours of riding. Is this really neccessary? i have about 30 hours since i repacked it. will this really matter or damage ne thing?

it wont really do anything except the poacking will slowly burn away. i repack mine every 30 hours. it wont do any harm, but you may lose horsepower

Doing it every 7 hours seems like alot. I would say once a yr. would be enough.

I recently just repacked mine and it was just of 3 yrs... and never packed.. there was not a piece of packing in it.:eek: :ermm:

After the repack it started better, sounded better and rode better.
