on fox9 news back when this happend they took video goin 50 mph and then multiplied that 4 to get what 200 mph would look like and it was crazy. imagina hitting a deer at that speed, you would go right through it!:eek2:

i just heard on the radio this mornin that it was b.s. some gear head experts said the particular bike he was ridin isnt able to go 205. there may be bikes out there that can but not the one he was on. the buddy that was racing him got a ticket for goin 140 i think. not sure just what i heard.

I say the cops are full of it. supposedly he was on a Honda RC51 and the only way for it to do 205 would be if you dropped it out of an airplane! lol maybe do 160 or 170 tops. I think he'll get off on this one.

I hate to be the one to break it too you... ...a RC51 has never actually hit its top speed! There is know one that will take it that fast, just like the Hyabusa. Also the guy has stated that both bikes were moded!

I knew it wasn't 200 when the article came out. I bet that cop feels kinda stupid. I know my dad is more then smart enough not to write such a rediculas ticket. I have been pulled over for 111 mph in a 55 on a built up zx6. I got let go because I knew the officer though, wasn't even my bike either. :ermm:

There's no way he was going 205 MPH. From what I heard is that the cop time hime a distance of a 1/4 mile in 4.39 seconds. Well how come top fuel dragsters do that time in the 1/4 mile but they do it at 300+ miles per hour. So there is now way that kid was going that fast. I would say maybe 150.

it was most likley a mistake. he was clocked at 205 by a state patrol airplane and they have a way of timing the distince he goes and some how figure that into a mph speed, but if the officer was off by even a fraction of a second it could mess the resluts up. in the article it says the bike can only top at 158 mph

u can take a distance and time how long it takes to go through it and figure out mph.

we dont excatly get points on our licence in minnesota, if you get a speeding ticket, accident, etc. the insurance company just jackes up what you pay. Im still paying for a speeding ticket i got over 3 years ago.

Thats pretty stupid, at least with the point system you can keep track. And after 3 yrs here the points come off. One of my buds had 10 points. But now hes down to 3 I think.
