you made a good choice in the toyota though, i had a 99' 4x4 tacoma a while back ago and it was a great truck, just had to trade it in for something bigger with more inside room,if ya take care of it it will take care of you for a long time.

but 150,000 miles later with not one problem i'll continue to drive it for awhile... i have a t-100 ext cab not a tacoma thou..

gmc had one piece composite (plastic ) bed couple years ago, thats no new invention, still not big enough for a big guy to ride in. like a mini-truck in many ways. wont get into the ford-chevy thing but itl never be comfortable to ride in the back seats. looks a little small. i think its junk, thats my opinion, what do i know

im jealous...i love toyotas..im getting a celica hopefully from a friend tomorrow for a couple of weeks while my truck is in the shop

Yeah, I still got my 99 Taco, 150,000 miles, still runs like a champ. I'll probably hold onto it another year and then get this new style 05 with the double cab. A regular cab gets kinda cramped after a while.

i love my tundra....so anytime i see someone gettin a Yota..I always say good choice.......but I think they made the newer yr model tundras look HORRIBLE (mines an 01 so it is the original style)

I almost got a tacoma but there was a big sale on the tundras that week
