Synthetic with HotCam

I have a stg 2 hotcam and it says in the instrtuctions not to run synthetic. Does anyone here have a hotcam and run synthetic? and why would they not want you to run synthetic. is it ok to run synthetic?

Don't synthetic oils also make your clutch more susceptable to slip a well?

I have been running full synthetic oil (Mobil 1) with my stage 2 Hot Cam for a couple of years now... No problems to date.

Note: I was not aware of that statement from Hot Cams instructions.

I could understand not using a synthetic oil during a "break-in" period.
