400ex cuts out over bumps and landing jumps

I just put a supertrapp ids2 with 155 main jet and k&n filter now when I land a jump or get on a rough trail the bike just cuts out like it ran out of gas if I pull in the clutch and fether the throttel a but it comes back to life. when it is running it works great and help apperatieted gotta run with them dirt bikes again

is the throttle closed when it's cutting out? if it is then its probably the pilot jet. just up to a 42 and that should solve that

Could be your float level as well. It might be overflowing or not letting enough gas in. Also take a look at your vent hoses, one might be clogged.

i had the same problem, it was a bad seal from the carb boot to the carb.It was a little loose so that when I hit a bump the boot would let air in and lean the motor out .probably not your case but worth a try
