WEll I finally decided to do it & signed DJ up @ Sponsorhouse.com this morning!! It costs $50 but if it works like I'm hoping I think it'll be worth it. I sent 17 resume's already & got ONE request back whooo hoooo it's for HRP Sports for 25% off so thats cool, heck better than any discounts we get now!! So I hope we get more contracts!! Hopefully this will help defer some of the costs :)
Sooooo if there are any companies out there that would be intrested in sponsoring a Honor Roll student, has a championship under his belt @ the age of 14, & volunteers for others helping out w/ various tasks then give us a email or PM!! Please ;) Here's a copy of his resume' :)

Racing Resume for DJ Sandvig #4
2004-2005
Hi my name is DJ & I am 14 and in the 8th grade at Marysville Junior High. I have been racing quads now for 4 years. Last year at Monroe's indoor winter flattrack series I took the Youth 200cc Championship and this year I will be hoping to win the Open 200cc class and the 250-350 4 Stroke Open class. This will be my 1st year running the 4 stroke class, I will be riding a 96' Honda 300EX. It will be my 3rd season on my Blaster.
I'm looking for sponsorship this winter to help to defer the costs of racing. It costs me about $75 per race for my class entry fees and fuel. As for what I can do for you is advertise, tell people about your company and hopefully bring more business your way. I will put your logo on my quad for the season also.
In my spare time I like to spend time with my family camping and riding. Last year in 7th grade I volunteered thru the school and visited the Senior Center in Marysville once a week and also volunteered at Safeway serving seniors on Tuesdays coffee and cookies. I was also on the Honor Roll in 2003-04 and this year so far I am getting good grades and hope to keep doing as well as I did last year.
Thank you for taking the time to read about me and what I like to do. I hope I can count on your support for this racing season!
Thank You,
DJ Sandvig

Thanks QJ ;) I think it will help some who knows though, we really don't buy alot of parts/clothing thats the only thing but I'm sure it'll be worth it :) As for me NOPE no racing for the Momma :( well maybe a couple but nothing serious now. I'm accepting the idea better now LOL :p I've been having Trevor practice in the yard all week & I think I"m gonna be nervous wreck but thouroughly enjoy watching this winter :)
