has anyone put 400ex nerf bars on a 450r?

I was wondering if you could make them work.Has anyone done it?

not really but its possible. my buddy cut the mounts off where they go on at the bottom front of the frame, and re-welded them a more foward position and it worked. you have a be a good welder to do this though, its not easy.

Ive got some friends that did it with the AC propegs. I believe they said they had to switch the mounting hardware to the other sides.

ive bolted up 3 different sets on a 450R that all came from a 400ex...so whats your point?

most nerfs will need a new hole drilled in the footpeg mount, and the cross bar may need to be mounted differently but again.."in most cases" they will work.

My friend mounted up his 400ex DG's to his 450r....

Yep,they work.I just got done installing a set of DG's from a 400ex on the 450r.It takes a little modding but once they are on they look like they were made for it.Thanks for the input.

i have got 400ex X-factor pro-peg nerfs on my 450r bolted right up with no mods.
