hey i was lookin on ebay and i saw a 2003 shock for a raptor that the rezzy is mounted on the side of it, would this still hit something if it was mounted on a 300 or would it work??

I think only a 2001 will work, but I could be wrong.

Nope, won't fit. You have to find the version with the remote reservoir.

yep the 01 shock will work.

i have a like new elka rear for a 300ex for sale if you would like to go that route

I better clarify my post so I don't confuse things. The '02 and later Raptor shocks have an attached reservoir that will prevent the shock from fitting your 300ex. The '01 Raptor shock has a remote mounted reservoir that lets the shock fit. I've got one on my 300ex and am very happy with the results.

what are the valving specs. on it?

140 to 170 pound rider on stock or +1 swing arm. mx valving i believe.
