hi i've read several of the previous questions on jetting..... some apply to me some don't so i thought i would ask for myself. i have a stock 400ex. i have a fmf pipe with a powerbomb head pipe to install . i was wondering what jet and pilot to start with... also do i have to change the pilot or can i adjust pilot scre to compensate. air box lid on and stock filter. any help would be appreciated. thanks

Start by putting in 155 main and if the bike seems to start well. Stay with the stock pilot and air screw setting .If it is hard to start go to a 42 pilot .

hey o4hmf400,
what jet are you running in your bike w/ the 440, and did you mess with the needle at all?
thanks

Call fmf and ask them. You can tell them where you live, what you have done to the bike, etc and they will be able to tell you what jets to use. It is free and easy.
