theres one heres the other

the frame will be made of treated 2x12's the cross members will be six feet long with a foot of over hang on each side of the frame the to frame pieces will be 4 feet apart (so the tires will actually ride up them and not just onthe cross members) they will be centered every 8 inches and will be set in notches cut out in the frame so that the frame will be flush with the top of the 2x4s the surface is gonna be 2 layers of 3/8" plywood painted and sealed

all i need is for this to last till end of next summer when i build a real ramp i belive that this design should up hold just fine this thing is gonna be really braced alot what do you guys think ofthe frame being under the area most stressed

oh and i dont care to hear the mess bout wood is a no no i know it is i doing this cause i have all the wood and i dont have any steel (till next summer) so im just building this for now type thing not a permnent ramp im aginist wood too but im really bored with my jump and i have a **** load of wood so thats why its the unthinkable

I think that it will hold if you build it strong, hope it works out for you.:)

Let us know how it works out!

i should start building the frame ( cuting the radius and stuff in the side pieces and notches for the 2x4s this weekend some time hopefully then ill get around to the ply wood i have all the wood its just when i can get he time to take my time and build it right so it dont break i dont think it wil and neither does my grandpa (carpenter for 45 years:macho) and he is gonna help me put it together just be cause it be sumthin for me and him to do together "Quality time"

i suggest u lay the 2x4's vertical instead of horizontal

the 2x4 are gonna be vertical. there will be a 1 1/2" wide 3 1/2" deep notches in the frame in which the 2x4s will sit and they will be centered every 8 inches

i found a log that was about... 3 feet tall laying down on its side... then covered with dirt, after i dug a hole that's about 3 inches for it to lay in. It worked very well.. lol
