450 r starting probs

i havn't ridden the quad in about 3 weeks and i went to start it today and it didn't pop... is there something that i must do after it sits for a long period of time??? this has happen a couple of times and the last time, i changed the plug and it worked , but with $20 plugs thats not cool...lol thanks for any help~jason

Your gas might of possibly gone bad....might try draining the tank/carb, throwing in some fresh 91/93 octane might do the trick. Just a possibility.....

Could also get someone to pull start you if anything....she'll fire. Dont be holding the throttle open either when you are starting it.....good way to flood it out and foul a plug.

I never touch the throttle and use choke when its cold,,,, Z
