i got lucky on mine and nobody really bid on it. $35 including shipping, which is A LOT better than 180 for a quad tech.

Yea, I won one of them too...Guy says he ships in 10-15 days. I guess he doesnt have them in stock...He has good feedback though. Also says if not 100% satisfied you get your money back. I'll keep ya guys posted as to when I get it and the quality of it!

My Dixo Hood came today!!Well I got it faster then the 10-15 days he said. Its pretty nice...not perfect(the overall gloss has some fisheye in the clearcoat)But #plate declas will cover it..Im happy with the purchase $55 delivered to my door...its a deal!Real Carbon Fiber!

well not exactly for the 300- im experimenting :) i bought a raptor hood, cause it should fit in there pretty well- have u seen the threads of a girl doing this to her 400?? I hate how the front end of mine looks, and NOBODY makes anything cool for a 300, so im going to see how this works... if not got a good friend w/ a raptor i can sell it too:p yea yea save me the grief you'll give me for puttin yamaha on my honda... ;)

I like that look a lot better then the head light on it. Fenders cut is the only way to Fly!

won mine for 50bucks and it was 19.99 to ship. It came really fast! I have noticed tho, its not high quality made stuff. one side is wider then the other slightly(maybe because carbon fiber is hard to form into a curve?), and there are tiny bubbles all over from the glaze they put on it. It is real carbon fiber tho! so even if its got slight imperfections i think it saved me a bunch in the long run! its a quad, prolly going to get scratched from trail riding, so im ok with the small imperfections. will try to post when i've got it on!

if you guys pay attention, this stuff is QuadTech carbon products. I think these wernt good enough for Quadtech to sell.

yeah I think it's just like quad tech's, but I've never seen one in person to compare. I think the one I got is real high quality. No imperfections or anything. My cousin ordered one so I'll see how his turns out.

Ya know I was wondering what happened. I received my hood today. I went to eBay to leave feedback and noticed that he was not a registered user. But I never noticed that before. I received my hood. Looks great a few small fisheyes and lint but who cares its carbon and cheap! This guy seems to have a good thing going, I wonder what happened?

i bought mine the other day, but i payed $119 shipped... it is from 3a Carbon, but it is called a dixo carbon hood... i hope mine turns up shortly, so i can see how high quality it is ... i will post pic when i get it on..( its the one with the scoop) ~jason

I have some of this work here. One is a z400 tank cover that does not fit. The claim of no fiberglas is untrue. The finish is bad and this is his second id on ebay in the last four weeks. The feedback was so bad on the other id he changed. Current id has 11 negs in past month.
The parts are manufactured very differently from Quad Tech and nowhere near the level of Quad Tech quality.

got mine yesterday. looks pretty good, the clear coat was alittle messed up, but im not complaining, it was only $60. It fit perfect too.. heres a couple pics.........some of them might look alittle weird, the rear of my quad is on jack stands......

i finally got mine after about 3 weeks, but i am happy with the quality , it has one small blemish , but you really have to look for it to notice it.. i was unhappy with the delivery of the hood, but am happy that i finally have it in my hands

i wonder if the 450r hoods and the 2005 400ex hoods are the same. i wrote a guy from quad tech and he didnt know, he said he would have to get a bike and campare the 2. i kinda thought that they would of had that figured out already. but i guess not. if u guys no anything about the 2 hoods let me no. thanks

Any updates on these? How did the 400ex scoop hoods fit? How are they holding up? I am getting new plastic and wanted to look in to these.

mine fit up pretty well and it looks almost as good b/c i scuffed it up crashin :mad: my only advice against the kit is to not use the plastic rivet things cause mine already has a small amount of play in it. just get some stainless bolts or somethin.
