What compression pistons by JE are available for the stock bore on a 450. I really dont wanna get into the mixing the gas or to the buying race gas i ride way to many hours to be sinking that kinda cash in fuel

Considering what they get for 93 anymore, race gas doesn't seem to cost too much extra anymore. If availability is the issue, thats another matter.

Will it be necessary for race fuel on the 11.5:1 and also how much is race fuel going for these days? 93 around here is going for $2.24

I had the 11.5:1 JE piston in my bike for a while and i didnt have to use race gas but it ran better with it. I was not happy overall with the piston, which lead to me upgrading to the JE 13:1 piston. This is where its at, major power gains on the bottom end and really compliments the stageII HotCam nicely.

If ya can afford race gas, get the 13:1! If not, stay stock...just get a cam. Sparks sells a 12:1 JE piston.....just a thought.
