Alright well my bearing carrier is shot and i need to get a new one my question is what is a good carrier for a good price and id also like to get one with a grease zerk. Ive read about twin row and tapered carriers but have no idea what the difference is, but understand that the tapered is more expensive, anybody care to explain these 2 things to me? Also where is a good place to get a new carrier for a good price and also could you post what i should be expecting to pay for one. Thanks

burgaurd makes nice carriers for about 125 i think. not sure what exactly the dual row is, but i think on the taperd you can adjust the drag on the axle

There's a thread on the difference in the faq section. I had the RAD tapered and RAD locknut on my EX and it was one of the best aftermarket parts I ever bought.

im almost positive all burgard carriers are $150. the increase was done at the begining of the year.

and if prices of steel, chromoly and aluminum keep rising i bet all aftermarket parts take a rise in cost:(

if you need it fast you might try C & D, they carry them and probably have one in stock.

if not either place could probably have it dropped shipped to your address.

if all else fails im going there tuesday night and can pick one up for ya.

I had a burgard carrier on my old 416EX. Worked great. AC has already had to raise their prices due to the cost of metal going up.
