I think what he is saying is that it sucks that your motor blew, but it doesnt suck at the same time because the 440 kit is on the way..Let me know what you think of that kit Danny..I hope you like it

I just put a 440 kit in my bike and its a beast my friend has a raptor with tc cam and full yoshimura pipe and I beat him up sand mountain.

i hear alot about guys putting the 440 kit and a cam in and beating raptors, i just cant wait, all i want to do is pull away from the z400

From personal experience I can tell you that you won't pull away from a Z400 until you get into 5th gear. You need a REALLY wide open area in order to really use the power that the 440 kit makes. The extra torque that the big bore kit makes can make launching it somewhat difficult for a while. I'm just now getting used to launching this thing and now I know I could pull even with a Z400 or a Raptor by 4th gear. They put such a large lead on me until I get into 3rd gear that it makes it difficult to reel them in.

yea hes right. my buddy has a z400 with air filter and pipe my ex has a 440, cam, ported head. sparks pipe, sparks cdi, uni air filter and we would race threw 4 gears and he would pull right off the line jsut about one quad lenght ahead and we stayed like that all the way down. yeah i was pist so bought a FCR carb played with the air box some and it put me just ahead of him. so in other words to get your ex pulling away from a z400 your going to need everything
