I'm trying to get all this political stuff straightened out in my head
so I'll know how to vote come November. Right now, we have one guy
saying one thing. Then the other guy says something else. Who to believe.
Lemmesee; have I got this straight?

Ahh, it's so confusing!

Every year an independent tax watchdog group analyzes the average tax
burdenon Americans, and then calculates the "Tax Freedom Day". This is
the
day after which the money you earn goes to you, not the government. This
year, tax freedom day was April 11th. That's the earliest it has been
since 1991.
It's latest day ever was May 2nd, which occurred in 2000. Notice anything
special about those dates?

Recently, John Kerry gave a speech in which he claimed Americans are
actually paying more taxes under Bush, despite the tax cuts. He gave
no explanation and provided no data for this claim.

Another interesting fact: Both George Bush and John Kerry are wealthy
men. Bush owns only one home, his ranch in Texas. Kerry owns 4 mansions,
all worth several million dollars. (His ski resort home in Idaho is an
old barn brought over from Europe in pieces. Not your average A-frame).

Bush paid $250,000 in taxes this year; Kerry paid $90,000. Does that
sound right? The man who wants to raise your taxes obviously has
figured out a way to avoid paying his own.

Yea but, Kerry said that he will hunt down the terrorists and KILL them

The scariest part about this is how close the polls (for what they're worth) have Kerry to Bush. I honestly don't know what some people are thinking. Well, maybe they're not thinking, they're letting the media do it for them.

Vote cartman for president. I bought a sticker that says that with a picture of cartman on it and put it on my mom's mini van. It's funny.

Some more for ya:

I thought this was great, ...it put things in some serious perspective. I get so sick of hearing people bash our president and I'm glad to see something like this "making the rounds". He isn't perfect, but at least he's honest, unafraid to stand up for what he believes, regardless of the press he receives, and he has done what he said he would do. He follows through, stands behind his convictions, and far as I can tell believes in the ability of the American people to defend the freedoms that we all take for granted daily. You may not like him, and that is okay, it is the forces of people like him that give you that right.

Worst president in history?

Liberals claim President Bush shouldn't have started this war.
They complain about his prosecution of it.
One liberal recently claimed Bush was the worst president in US history.

Let's clear up one point:

President Bush didn't start the war on terror.
Try to remember, it was started by terrorists BEFORE 9/11.
Let's look at the worst president and mismanagement claims.

FDR led us into World War II.
Germany never attacked us: Japan did.
From 1941-1945, 450,000 lives were lost,
an average of 112,500 per year.

Truman finished that war and started one in Korea.
North Korea never attacked us.
From 1950-1953, 55,000 lives were lost,
an average of 18,333 per year.

John F. Kennedy started the Vietnam conflict in 1962.
Vietnam never attacked us.
Johnson turned Vietnam into a quagmire.
From 1965-1975, 58,000 lives were lost,
an average of 5,800 per year.

Clinton went to war in Bosnia without UN or French consent.
Bosnia never attacked us.
He was offered Osama bin Laden's head on a platter three times by Sudan and did nothing.
Osama has attacked us on multiple occasions.
Over 2,900 lives lost on 9/11.

NOW, Consider THIS:

In the two years since terrorists attacked us,
President Bush has liberated two countries,
crushed the Taliban, crippled al-Qaida,
put nuclear inspectors in Lybia, Iran and North Korea without firing a shot,
captured a terrorist who slaughtered 300,000 of his own people..
We lost 700 soldiers, an average of 350 a year.
Bush did all this abroad while not allowing another terrorist attack at home.

Worst president in history? Come on!

The Democrats are complaining about how long the war is taking,! but...

It took less time to take Iraq
than it took Janet Reno to take the Branch Davidian compound.
That was a 51 day operation.

We've been looking for evidence of chemical weapons in Iraq for less time than it took Hillary Clinton to find the Rose Law Firm billing records.

It took less time for the 3rd Infantry Division and the Marines to destroy the Medina Republican Guard
than it took Teddy Kennedy to call the police after his Oldsmobile sank at Chappaquiddick.

It took less time to take Iraq
than it took to count the votes in Florida!!!!

Subject: worst president in history?.......you make the judgement
